Legacy Society for Hampton Roads
The Legacy Society for Hampton Roads
honors people who have made a planned gift to The Norfolk
Foundation.
“Through the Society we recognize people who have made plans
to give back to their community after their lifetimes,” says
Nan Edgerton, vice president of development. “We want to
recognize them now for the significant contributions they
will make in the future.”
Legacy Society members are invited to private events and
other Foundation functions. They also can choose to be
recognized by the Foundation publicly or remain anonymous.
Those eligible for Legacy Society membership include people
who have included the Foundation in their estate plans
through wills, charitable trusts or charitable gift
annuities. The Society also includes members who have named
the Foundation as the beneficiary of insurance policies,
Individual Retirement Accounts or other retirement plans.
To join the society, contact Nan Edgerton at
nedgerton@norfolkfoundation.org or
757-622-7951.
