"Art of Glass" ExhibitionMembers of the Business Consortium for Arts Support are businesses and foundations that operate in the south Hampton Roads area of Virginia and make annual contributions to the Consortium. All contributions go directly to help support arts and cultural groups.

When they join the Consortium, members pool their financial resources and make an impact on a large number of arts and cultural organizations in a wide range of disciplines – from masterpieces to modern works, from symphony to opera, from dance to children’s theater and everywhere in between. By relying on the Consortium’s grant allocation process, the members no longer have to evaluate every request for funding themselves. The Consortium provides improved coordination, evaluation and accountability for businesses that give to established and emerging arts and cultural programs.

Levels of Giving & Benefits

Patron ($500 - $5,999)

  • Recognition in annual report

  • Listing on Consortium website and on-line calendar

  • Invitations to special events by arts organizations

  • Invitation for two to Consortium’s members-only special reception

Advocate ($6,000-$9,999)

  • All of the above plus

  • Recognition in arts program books for all performances of recipient organizations

  • Recognition in donor appreciation advertisements

  • Listing on Consortium letterhead

  • Invitation for four to Consortium’s members-only special reception

Leader ($10,000 - $24,999)

  • All of the above plus

  • Listing on website and on-line calendar with link to corporate website

  • Invitation for six to Consortium’s members-only special reception

Champion ($25,000-$49,999)

  • All of the above plus

  • Special recognition and spotlight on website and on-line calendar

  • Invitation to Artistic Directors Luncheon

  • Invitation for eight Consortium’s members-only special reception

Pacesetter ($50,000 and above)

  • All of the above plus

  • Invitation for ten to annual meeting

  • Special recognition and award at Consortium’s members-only special reception
