Beach Fund

Meet Beach Fund co-chairs Nancy Hall and Meredith Esarey and learn why they are involved in this hands-on philanthropy group.

The Beach Fund introduces people in Hampton Roads to the joy of philanthropy. Members of this charitably-minded group of adults affiliated with the Hampton Roads Community Foundation are ages 25 to 45 (or young at heart). Each member contributes a minimum of $400 annually to the Beach Fund, which is a permanent endowment. Through your annual membership you can:

• Participate in awarding grants to area nonprofits each year.
• Learn about philanthropy and nonprofit needs in your community.
• Join other Beach Fund members in hands-on volunteer projects that help others.
• Be invited to special social events that also let you learn about our community.
• Choose to be linked online to other Beach Fund members.
