Ways to Donate

There are two basic options for making a donation:

• Make a current gift either online, with a check or a transfer of stock or other assets. Please mail checks to the Hampton Roads Community Foundation, One Commercial Place, Suite 1410, Norfolk, VA 23510-2103.
• Plan for a future gift through a bequest, trust or other estate planning tool. 

We welcome gifts of all sizes to existing funds, including our family of Community Funds that support a variety of grants to nonprofits in our region.

If you donate $25,000 or more, you can create a permanent named fund. You choose the purpose, such as scholarships, grants to specific nonprofits or for certain fields of interest. Your fund will grow over time and provide annual grants and scholarships. If you have arranged for a future gift, you are invited to join the Legacy Society for Hampton Roads.

Your gifts are tax deductible to the extent the law allows.
