Types of Funds

 

Community Funds
The Hampton Roads Community Foundation welcomes gifts of all sizes to its family of Community Funds. These include permanent funds for that provide grants for  the following purposes:
*Arts and culture
*Civic leadership
*Educational achievement
*Environment
*General grantmaking
*Health and human services
*Scholarships
Gifts can be made online  or by sending a check to  Hampton Roads Community Foundation, 101 W. Main Street, Suite 4500, Norfolk, VA 23510.

Types of Funds
We administer six types of endowed funds invested to grow over time while a portion is used each year for grants or scholarships. You can create a new named permanent fund with a gift of $25,000 or more. At any time, you can give any size gift to an existing fund. We charge modest administrative fees for funds.
