Helping Area Nonprofits

Through the Hampton Roads Community Foundation you can help nonprofits by:

• Starting a designated fund to help specific nonprofits you name to receive grants
• Creating a field of interest fund for grants in specific areas, such as the arts, education or the environment.
• Setting up an unrestricted fund that lets us provide grants to a wide spectrum of nonprofits.
• Starting a donor advised fund that lets you recommend grants to nonprofit organizations.

With a gift of $25,000 or more you can create a permanent, named fund. Your gift lets you select the purpose of the fund and choose a name for the fund that honors or memorializes a special person.
