All grants and commitments made from the beginning of the Foundation through the end of its independent existence (9/30/05) are included in this list.

  • Listed below are the names of the nonprofit organizations that received grants, the number of grants they received and the total amount of funds they received from all of the grants combined.

  • The five main grant categories—Arts, Education, Human Services, Health Care and Religious Institutions—have been broken into sub-categories in an effort to provide a more accurate picture of The Parsons Foundation’s grant history.  All categories are subjective, and many recipients could readily appear in more than one category.  Where there was a question about where to put a recipient, it was resolved by taking into account the purpose of the grant.
